Safest Place to be{Honeybun&Raowolf}

Cal scurried along the wet pavement on wobbly legs, his cheeks puffing out with the strain. His hide stuck close to his bones so they showed clearly through, and made his head look a little too large. He was a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, but unlike most of his breed he was thin and sickly, with small teeth and a misshapen tail. The Runt.

He was heading to the Toy Factory, his pelt slick and shining with Rainwater as it drizzled down onto him. He knew that the Pack Courts were the safest place to be, and right now he needed safe. He always needed safe.

Reese walked around the toy factory, like all say it was fun but safe place around the whole territory. Slowly as she walked she notice a box of toys, they were little plush puppies. A big smile crawled onto her lips. Quickly she went over to them, once she had reached them she placed half her body inside and began to play with the toys. She was growing up pretty quick. The sad part was that her ice power was still out of control when it came to anger, and being scared. She had killed an innocent stray not to long ago with her power. Sadly to say it was a friendly so it had put a lot of guilt on her, Ruffshot has been working with her step by step. For now she was just going to have some fun with cute plush puppies till the rain stopped.

At last he reached the Shelter of the Overhanging Roof of the Factory, and scurried inside, whimpering slightly as he nearly slipped on the Slick Tiles and his wet paws. He caught a scent as he shook himself, actually falling over this time with an 'uff!' of shock and pain, and the shock and fear of it nearly sent him back out into the Storm. It took another Second of Studying the Scent that he realised he recognised it, and it made his heart flutter. Reese!

Barking his embarrasingly high-pitched yap he pulled himself to his feet and bounded slippily towarsds the Direction of the scent, his little heart hammering. He gathered himself and slowed, nose to the Ground, as he wove between boxes, following her path. Then with a yelphe walked straight into a box of Cuddly Toy Dogs!

While she played and rolled around in the cute plush toys she heard a little chipper bark. She raised her head for a moment, but shortly she went back to playing. It was only a matter of time till she felt someone bump into the box. She lifted her head and notice it was Cal, a big smile crawled onto her face, "Cal ! she said in a happy tone. She quickly walked around the box and tackled him to the ground as a playful greeting, "I'm so glad your here..I was super lonely" she said to him. Slowly she back up and sat on her haunches, she tilled her head with a smile and wagged her tail.

Cal stammered a quiet apology for disturbing her, but realised it was on deaf ears as the Beautiful Lab Pup tackled him playfully. Laughing nervously, a little alarmed at her Robust approach, he waved a paw at her hopefully, as though to thwack her on the Muzzle, although he had no intentions of doing so. And she was too far away, at any rate. "H-hey Reese," he stammered quietly in his soft voice as he looked at her with a little smile. "I was... I was a bit..." He wished not to admit he had been afraid. No point in lying though; everyone knew he was the Sikla - the weakling - of the pack. "I was a bit scared out there, and I know here's safe so I came in." He looked down in shame at his own cowardice. How could a Pathetic Mundane Pup like him get a wonderful Girl such as Reese to... He drove the thought from his mind.

As he playfully pawed at her she smile. When he spoke about being scared she nodded. "Yeah it does get kind of scary out their when it pours down raining with all kinds of thunder and lightening...hey now that your here we can keep each other safe" she said sweetly to him, she looked around and notice how everything was dusty and covered in rust. Looking over she gave Cal a smile, "Hey you want to go inside the toy room...its filled with all kinds of toys and fun" she said with joy, she sat their and waited for him to answer.

Cal had no idea how he was supposed to keep anyone safe, but he nodded vigorously all the same. "Yeah... The Toy Room... That sounds fun!" He wagged his little tail hopefully and grinned sheepishly, "Lead the way!" Reese looked like she knew her way around here quite well, he guessed. Although Cal often came to the Toy Factory for its safety, he never quite plucked up the courage to explore, more often than not just curling up in a corner and trying to fall asleep.

Reese smiled when he agreed to go to the toy factory with her, "Okay,this way Cal" she said playfully. Soon she turned to the left and started to trot down the hall. As they reached the third she smiled, "Here we are" she said in joy. Slowly she pushed her way into the room, their was crap load of toys. Their was plush toys, chewy toys, scented toys. You name it, she felt like she was in toy land. "Come on Cal lets play" she said happily. Quickly she ran toward the toys and hopped in them. Slowly she worked her way to the plush ones, when she reached them she began to roll around and toss them up in the air.

He nodded once, then scurried along behind Reese, puffing out his cheeks with effort. When she turned left he skidded a little, slipped, then hurried after her. His jaw dropped open in shock. All around him were Toys. So many toys! Big ones, small ones, hard ones, soft ones, bouncy balls, stuffed Animals, Wooden trains you could chew on and plastic cars you could push and then chase.

Yipping with excitement he ran on the spot for a second, trying to get a grip on the slippery floor, then galloped as fast as his little legs would carry him over to the box next to Reese's. The pup yapped again, then clambered in, coming up a few seconds later with a large cuddly rat clenched in his jaws, eyes bright and ears up but floppy. It was about the same size as him!

Reese rolled and played in all the toys was like a wonderland for pups. If she could she would live in this room forever, but of coarse being a create had needs of staying alive and not every place was safe for a long period of time. Moments later her energy was drained from all the playing, Reese laid their on the stuff animals looked up at Ceiling, it was painted orange, almost like how the sun was sometimes.

He shook the Rat for a little while, trying to rip it, and was a little disappointed he couldn't even tear fabric when his breed were supposed to be able to shred skin, but tried not to let it bother him; Cal put it carefully back and trotted off again, finding a little wooden train which the staffy gnawed on, until it slipped from under his paws and rolled off, bumping into Reese.

She turned her head over to Cal for a moment, the way he played made her giggle. Cal was her best friend and she would protect him with her life. You would here males saying this but of coarse Reese was a rough female so it was pretty much the other way around with her. When Cal bumped into her she looked over and gave a smile, "You okay Cal" she said with a smile. "I'm pooped out from playing, these stuff animals are so soft and comfy" she said with a giggle, she wiggled around getting all comfortable next to her buddy Cal.

He grinned shyly. She looked so... So pretty like that. He whined and shook his head, stopping his own thoughts before they got out of paw. "Yeah... It's kind of-" he yawned with a squeak "-tiring." Cal looked at Reese slowly as she snuggled to him. He should be able to protect her... Already she was bigger than him; at his full grown state he would barely be her size now, and the thought made him a little sad. He put his head on hers with a faint smile and then wriggled into the little pile of toys.

When Cal spoke she gave him a big smile, slowly he placed his head on hers. She wiggled her tail around while she laid next to him, "Boy can you believe it Cal, winter is here" she said in a soft voice. "I cant wait for us to have a lot of snow...playing in it is a lot of fun" she said sweetly to him, she laid their looking at the mixture and colorful patterns.

"Snow?" He asked in surprise, looking to Reese in bemusement. "What's... Snow?" he word sounded strange on his lips.
