Kane slid a bit as her teeth clenched on his neck and then twisted, snarling suddenly, brown eyes devoid of their usual cheery splendor. His shield slid on again, making him heavier and bringing him crashing down with Alarice. Then he twisted, snapped, and slammed his heavy, iron-hard head into her shoulder, probably knocking her flying, even as she spoke with a laugh. "A fight is never over 'till one is down, or I say! Never release your guard!" He bellowed in a cruel bark. Then he stood, slid the shield off, and smiled, back to normal. "You did quite well there; there was much precision in your attack, similar to what I have seen of your Mother's. Did you learn from her?" He laughed light-heartedly. "And one heck of a strong jaw -- Ow! But like I said, don't let your guard down until you're sure the fight's ended. This one is, for now. Now stand up, and try again. This time I'll try to dodge." His crouched down, shield back on once more. His voice turned gruff, but he was still smiling as he spoke. "Look at my bulky frame. Try to guess how far I can move away, and learn my body language to tell you how I move either way. For example Arron looks to the left before he jumps that way, and he's small but agile; medium jump to the left. You... I'm still figuring that out."

Listening intently she studied herself. Barley moving her eye she looked over him. Noting a wall close she figured jumping and turning in air would help her. Crouching she surprised herself instead of doing that she ran full at him and turned right crashing into his body with her chest. Trying to hide the pain it caused her she set off her flames. Backing off she crouched again and growled slwoly her flames licking around her. She was not used to doing this but it was cool. Indeed I learned from my mother...you know her? she said keeping eyes on his body language. She started to circle him slowly almost in slow motion.

He saw her eyes flicker momentarily towards the wall behind him, and he tensed in preparation for her to mover there. As she launched herself he did also and--WHAM! She struck home in a Booya of their two chests. He uffed with breathlessness, swaying a little, before standing straight and doing the same as Alarice as she ducked low. Deciding to go for the 'if this was a real fight' game, he smiled crookedly and evilly. "Oh yes, I knew your mother. She was so much of a Bitch. Could never stay still for long. Always relied on her beauty to make others do the 'Poor, Simpering Husky's' bidding." Then he put his head back and roared with mock laughter. "I bet that's what she did with your father, hahaha!"
Then, before the sentence was up as to take her by surprise, he lunged forth and bowled into her flames, mostly protected by his shield but still feeling the heat. Snarling his jaws reached through and clenched on her ear in the bulldog's deadly grip. The deadly grip is a famous move of a Bulldog among men, as only one such a dog - or any beast - can do it. Years of specialised breeding and sperm-selecting have left the breed with jaws that can interlock perfectly, so they may only come apart when the Dog wishes. In the ancient fights they used to lock onto the necks of bears like this, and be thrown around till on or both of them dies. But right now he only had her byu the ear. A little tear at most.

Alarice snarled at his cruel words of her mother who had cared for her! Just as she went to speak he hit her frame and sent her tumbling. She snarled as he grabbed her ear and the blood came. Snapping back at him she latched onto his shoulder digging in deeply. Her jaws with a death grip she put her anger into making her flames reach her face. Her ears were set on fire burning the dogs mouth....

He released and leapt back, twisting in the flames and spinning, weighed down by his metal skin. Getting the words out between bites so that he barely had time to breathe, Kane snapped, "Oh--yes--can't--even--defend--her--can--you? Just--like--her--I--bet--taking--the--Faction--Leader--job--nice--and--high. Of course--White--fire--knows it--she would never--be--fooled--by--beauty--but--she--plays along!" Then he slipped on the tiling that was growing wet with a few splodges of blood and, with a yelp, he slid and crashed onto his side, eyes watering so that they glinted on his silvery skin. Then, through a barely open mouth he hissed, "Make the killing blow, and that'll be the end of the Fight."
OOC: Like your tactics, but remember that his shield has the density of steel, so her teeth can't sink in =)

Alarice heard him barley as she leapt in and barley bit on his neck practicing the killing bite. she smiled and backed off. Was it good? she said sitting and panting with the effort of the fight.

"Fight--" he waited for her teeth to meet the point where his neck and spine met "--Ended!" Kane grinned and stood carefully, nearly slipping again on the still bloodied tiles. "Haha, yeah, you did real good, especially for a first go -- certainly better than I thought! I remember in AA's first lesson, they ended up getting caught up in the curtains, those Goofballs!" He laughed grinning and slobbering, then his flat face turned somber a little.
"But, you do realise I would never say those things really, and I don't mean them. I would never taunt anyone like that, even a Bloodstar. But lots of dogs will, so I'm trying to teach you the art of ignorance. You handled observation well, so that's the OI of the OIO tactics done; you do them well!" Then he groaned a little and moved his shoulders in short circles in their sockets. "Ow... Now d'wanna have another go, or shall we lay off for now?" He winced as his shoulder clicked.

Kane nodded. "I think we both got a bit hurt there. Dangerous world, this one is..." He flexed his shoulder, hoping to fix it a bit, but it just panged more. "Eh, I'm no Healer." Then he turned and looked toward the door upstairs, "Now come on, there are comfier chairs upstairs. The Butterfly Room's got these wonderful little poofs..." He chuckled. The School was a big place, and many could get lost easily, so he made it his duty to learn its passageways and rooms off by heart, and teach others of his knowledge so the Lehren may have the upper paw in battles when cornered here. Although of course none could ever match his own recognition of the place.

Up the stairs, through the double doors, to the end of the corridor, through the Lunch Hall and Kitchens, up more stairs, left past the Fire Exit, through the Caterpillar room and... Kane smiled as he scratched open the door, which had a small, faded drawing of a Butterfly on an A3 piece of paper on, which was just starting to fall off, and padded in. "Viola!" He laughed, and collapsed with a satisfied 'Aaaahhhhh...' onto a beanbag. There was the Teacher's chair at one end of the room, that Arron and Aaron always fought over, a circle of poofs arranged around it, and two more beanbags near Kane's. The American Bulldog indicated with his paw that she could sit wherever she wished.

Folllowing him through many mmore places she finally collapsed on a beanbag by him. Laughing she lied down listening as the beans crunched under her weight. How did you know about this place? she said smiling.

Kane shrugged. "When I escaped the Labs I was Whitefire's first member. She had this idea about a new pack that would rely on words for power rather than Teeth & Claws. I jumped right in for it, just wanting someone to relate to, y'know, and she gave me my position. I was stationed here, and with not much to do, no-one to teach and no food needed - can't hunt anyway - I just decided to investigate here, and memorise all the rooms incase of attack. Why, I practically lived here for a while!" He laughed, but it was a little sad. Uncharacteristically so. "And you learn these things after a while. So now I just know me way around, and if we ever get attacked, we can bunker out 'ere for a while, or lead 'em in for an ambush."

Kane's eyes sparkled. "You will learn..." Everyone did, given long enough.
