Skie smiled in satisfaction as he fell. She stood a little away from him and awaited his move. her every sense on edge...

Sketch's paws skidded and leapt; he could not hear them but knew they would be resounding and vibrating through the dirt floor and corridor... He positioned himself just right on the Charge back, heart thumping. The was a corridor away... His paws continued to pound... Her figure became clearer at around 20 metres... His tongue flew from his mouth with his speed... 10 metres to go... He leapt in huge bounds, a foot a pop... 5 metres... His heart leapt; she hadn't moved, he was going to hit her, surely...

Skie had inticipated to not move until he was very very close. As soon as his form was within 5 meters she flew forward and turned around to watch his reaction to her being gone. He had only missed her by inches...

He skidded and crashed into the metal fence, which clattered and chinked loudly. Sketch spun himself up onto his feet, one paw off the ground, wincing. But half a second later the signs of pain were gone and he grinned again, then, hoping she had remembered to close her eyes, dashed off again.

Skie smiled and held back a laugh as she watched him. She closed her beautiful eyes before listening to his steps. She slowed his steps down and her heart beat slower. She could feel his presence closening....

He rounded and came back, eyes sparkling, but realised too late that he had misjudged! Unable to switch direction or else break the Rules of his own Game, Sketch carried on with his path, headed about 30 cm to the left of her.

Skie smiled and stepped in front of him just to make it fun. As he hit her she allowed herself to fall and tumble

Sketch looked up in surprise as she stepped infront of him, then, with no time to react, cannonballed straight into the Husky. They tumbled together in a tangled knot of Limbs and he smiled a little confusedly; whilst he had enjoyed it, the Deaf-Mute Basenji still did not understand why she had done it... Shaking, he tried to stand, but found he could not free himself! Stuck there, under her, legs bent awkwardly, he looked up to the Sky and, completely off-topic, wondered how best to go about retrieving the right colours for the paints he would need to capture just that right shade of blue...

Skie barked and wagged her tail while she untangled herself. She had fun doing this so she stood and watched as he stared at her. It was for the fun of it was all she said before stretching her sore limbs.

Sketch looked at her strangely. He had never understood why people did that; move their mouths in peculiar shapes. He could gain no message out of them. Maybe it felt funny... He copied, twisting his jaws in a funny way as he opened and closed them. Nothing happened.

She forgot his muteness. She thought hard and came up empty. She had no way of explaining

Seeing that his Snapping didn't seem to be doing anything, he stopped and wagged his curled tail instead. He didn't feel like playing again...
