Name: Kane
Nickname: Big K
Date of Birth: 7/12/2007
Age: 3
Gender: Male
Breed: American Bulldog
Mutation/Power: Hard shell
Personality: Kane is generally quite happy, with a joyous personality, although when he is concentrating on a fight he goes blank and vicious. But normally, he is grinning toothily. It takes alot to annoy him, so the Attack and Defence trainer is popular with his younger students as he forgives easily and happily corrects their mistakes. He has put his past behind him and tries not to worry about it much(see history). He often ways his head and can be found sitting alone quite contentedly just humming a happy tune to himself. He believes that there is no such thing as a mistake, and will often notice anything good in an otherwise failed... Well, anything really =P
Body Description: Kane is not very tall, but quite wide(he is shorter than Whitefire). He is similar to Whitefire with his markings - white with a black muzzle/snout, brindle patches across his face and most of his main body. His snout is very flat and drooly, with his nose upturned just between his eyes. Yes, he drools. :P Kane weighs around 6 1/2 stone, when not in his Hard-Shell mode, but when he is in it it is about 20 times as much; he does not fear those with Super-Strength. His eyes are far apart and one stares slightly off the left, although he can see just fine. He is well muscled. When he barks both his eyes go wonky a little and he look slightly confused. When putting on Hard Shell skin takes a smooth silvery colour and texture.
History: Kane has passed through the hands of many owners. He was born in a shed, stuffed into a box and put in an ad in the paper, along with his littermates. Pitying them, a landlord bought the smallest white one with the wonky eye, who always sat on the others. But Kane grew bigger, and the poor pubowner could no longer cope with the bouncy Bulldog; by the time he had developed his markings the pup had been given to a teenage boy looking to use him as a status, and was chained up outside, growing strong, lonely, and a little vicious, although he never lost his joyful puppyness. Seeing the weakness of what he considered to be a pathetic dog, the teen passed him to the hands of an experienced dog owner living near by. There he was happy and went on long walks every day. But this owner got a new girlfriend and, with a financial crisis on his hands, passed the unfortunate Kane onto a small family with several young children as to keep the girl(who hated dogs). Although at first the American Bulldog's playful nature seemed good for the family, he had been starved. So when the youngest child taunted him with food yet again, he finally lost it and snatched at the item. Seeing this as one of those 'common' rabbid dog attacks, the overworked mother took the dog to the vets immediately to be put down. Unwilling for this to happen, the kindly vet said he would consider the case. With Kane safely in a holding pen, said vet continued with his duties. As it happened, that very same day he was to put down another American Bulldog for old age. The family saw Kane and thought him a sign from heaven, requesting him immediately, so the vet, willing to 'ditch the body' but not wanting to put down the healthy dog, passed him over for a small bribe. The family lived by the beach, and Kane lived very happily, and this new family nurtured him out of his many bad habits. After only 1 year he was what may have been considered the perfect family dog. Some say it is the cruelty of the fates. Others say he deserved it. Most say its just bad luck. But Kane just wanted to be happy, and that was stolen from him in the shape of, strangely enough, a holiday. For the family lived in Wales, and all of his other owners had lived in the North of England. Not wanting to leave him alone in Kennels they took him with them. With the roaring engines and many scents, he tried to escape in pure bitter fear. Finally the anesthetic cam into effect and he was K.O-ed for the rest of the journey to America. Much unfortunately, the anesthetic wore off as they landed, but not the fear. In this state of pure terror that poor dog broke from the travel crate, and departed. Here he made his way to Diamond Ridge, searching for his family again. He was captured and experimented on.
