The Short One With the Flat Face

Kane panted happily as he walked in a circle again. He had been told by Whitefire to remain here and wait it out for any dogs or Wolves that came along with the Key Words from her. It was rather dull though. But he wouldn't let that get him down! The tune inside his head played itself out again, and he bobbed his head with it, the drool from the side of his mouth falling off slowly with the motion.

It was cool inside the den-building, and he was grateful to be out of the scorching sun; Where he came from it was usually rainy so he was not at all used to the light and heat. Sometimes it was nice though.

Padding inside, Zero looked around for this apparently short dog with a flat face. Must be some sort of Bulldog. Pricking up his ears, he heard the scuffling of paws echo throughout the building. Following the noises, he came upon a Bulldog. "uh, excuse me?" Zero shifted uncomfortably and recited what Whitefire had said to say "Wir sind die Lehren. Keine überwinden uns. Wir nicht entweder gehen noch verlassen. Und wir sterben nie?"

Kane turned and listened carefully to the recited words of this new one. When he had finished, he barked in joy, making the slobber bounce around the room and his eyes go a little wonky. Then the Bulldog panted happily "Welcome to the club my friend! I'm Kane, by the way." He wagged his tail and sniffed what appeared to be a German Shepherd's muzzle carefully. He hoped he had gained a new friend.
